On the behalf of the King Saud University, Rector Badran Al-Omar expressed his deep sympathy and heartfelt condolences to New King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz and Crown Prince Muqrin bin Abdul-Aziz on the passing of King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz, God bless his soul.

The KSU Rector prayed that God will rest the King Abullah in peace and will comfort his bereaved people for their great loss. He prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow the deceased his mercy and eternal peace and to reward him for his services to his religion and homeland. King Abdullah, God bless his soul, who spent nearly ten years as a King of Saudi Arabia, dedicated in serving his religion and his people and his nation.

The Rector added, “Everyone who belonged to KSU can feel the kind of untiring support that King Adbullah, God bless his soul, gave to KSU to enable it to achieve innovations that support the national economy and fulfill the aspirations of citizens and provide work opportunities to the young men and women of the Kingdom”.

Further, KSU Rector called to King Abdullah, God bless his soul, as a man of ‘wisdom’ and ‘vision’. He said King Abdullah’s thoughts and leadership qualities will always remain with Saudi Royal Family and the people of the Kingdom.

Moreover, KSU Rector said, King Abdullah, God bless his soul, will always alive in hearts of all Kingdom’s people. "The death of King Abdullah is a tragedy for us and he will be gravely missed. The King Abdullah led by example, and was a man of great responsibilities, toward his nation and people. His achievements were significant and his boundless humanitarian support in the Arab and Islamic world will have a positive impact on those in need for years to come, Rector mentioned.

In addition, KSU Rector also praised to the new Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, who has nearly 60 years of experience as governor of Riyadh, defense minister, crown prince and deputy premier, is all set to drive the Kingdom to greater progress and prosperity.
