     On the 26 of  Nov 2018, and under the patronage of His Royal Highness Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz Prince of the Riyadh province, and at King Faisal Conference Hall at the Intercontinental Hotel, where the Conference (The Future Applied Medical Sciences Towards 2030)  held with the cooperation of the Medical City of King Saud University.

     The Rector of King Saud University Prof. Badran Al-Omar said that this Conference comes from the University's belief in the importance of the future. As well as, developing a roadmap for the use of Applied Medical Specialties, presenting research developments, creating a common platform between the institutions of health and the labor market, achieving effective knowledge exchange and exploring experiences that related academically and professionally.

     Moreover, the conference aims to implement the concept of effectiveness and responsibility by rooting the efficiency in promoting a culture of performance to enable human resources, energies towards a better future of health services in meeting challenges and achieve the optimum health environment in the society.

On the other hand, Dr. Yazid Al-Sheikh the Dean of the  Applied Medical Sciences College, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Conference said that more than 40 speakers would attend the conference; specialists, academics, doctors and medical administrative staff from inside and outside the kingdom who are interested in improving the future of Applied Medical Sciences. There are also, major companies, and institutions operating in the health sector.

     The Conference accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties   (with 30 hours of CME) besides several axes would be discussed such as skills development and specialized workshops. The Conference is accompanied by an exhibition that targets physicians, nurses, resident physician, and health colleges.

     The Dean of the Applied Medical Sciences College expects that the meeting will come out with several recommendations that will strengthen the field role.
