His Excellency the Minister of Education Dr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al Sheikh, inspected the Covid-19 Vaccine Center at King Saud University, where he was briefed on the workflow mechanism, the registration procedures followed, and the beneficiaries receiving vaccines, in the midst of an integrated system of services, and the medical, technical, administrative and voluntary participation personnel.

He was greeted by the President of King Saud University, Prof. Dr. Badran bin Abdul-Rahman Al-Omar, the Vice President for Female Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ghada bint Abdul Aziz bin Saif, the university's vice presidents, and the Executive Director of the Medical City at King Saud University, Dr. Ahmed bin Salah Hirsi.

Where the Minister of Education praised the wise leadership - may God protect it of the concern for the health of the citizens and residents during the pandemic, and the role of universities in community service, praising the level of service at the King Saud University Center in providing the vaccine to all members of society, and the size of the achievement that was achieved in a short time since its inauguration.

The Minister of Education was accompanied during the visit by His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Education for Universities, Research and Innovation, Dr. Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Sudairy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Research and Innovation, Dr. Nasser Al-Aqili, and the General Supervisor of the General Administration of Media and Communication, Dr. Ahmed Al-Jumai'a.

His Excellency concluded his visit by meeting with male and female volunteers and praised the distinguished efforts.

It is noteworthy that King Saud University has joined hands with the efforts of the Ministry of Health and established three centers for the Coronavirus - Covid 19 vaccines. The main center, which is now available for all citizens and residents to register in it through the Sehhaty app, is located in the lobby of the University City for Female Students and is equipped with 56 clinics, including 8 clinics for emergency cases.

The Vaccine Center at King Saud University - starting from the trial period - recorded a high level of satisfaction of the beneficiaries due to the efficiency in organization and ease of procedures and a record time not exceeding ten minutes to take the vaccine doses, which indicated the university’s ability to transfer its expertise to the highest standards. As it mobilized its qualified national cadres to enable the center to be fully operated by the efforts of university employees
