King Abdullah Institute for Nanotechnology (KAIN) welcomed a delegation of 19 students from the Science Club in Taif University, headed by Sultan Alsufyani, supervisor of the club.

The purpose of the visit was to introduce the visiting students to the nanotechnology field, its nationwide significance and working areas, and the role of KAIN in the establishment of a knowledge core in this important field.

Moreover, the visit program included a tour in KAIN laboratories along with a session of open discussion about different nanotechnology applications and the importance of nanotechnology to some vital areas in the kingdom.

On this occasion KAIN Dean Aws I. Alshamsan explained that this visit activity is coherent with the efforts carried out by the institute to support social communication and partnership in order to popularize the scientific awareness of nanotechnology in our society. At the end of the visit, the club offered a memorial shield to KAIN.
