The College of Medicine at King Saud University hosted the 36th meeting of the Committee of Deans of Saudi Medical Colleges. The meeting discussed previous decisions, the proposal of establishing a preparatory year program for medical colleges and SMLE results. Moreover, the attendees have listened of a detailed explanation on the efforts exerted by the College of Medicine at King Saud University in fields of research, studies and scientific publishing, and its strategies in promoting local and international cooperation with Saudi medical colleges as well as Arab and international medical institutions and authorities in addition to organizing and conducting training courses and programs in various health specialties.

In this context, the Dean of the College of Medicine at King Saud University, Dr. Khalid Ali Fouda, stressed the importance of this meeting, which explores ways of developing medical education in the Kingdom and exchanging experience in the field of health education and training. He also commended the great role of the deans of Saudi medical colleges in establishing mutual cooperation to pursue excellence and innovation in the field of health education and training. Furthermore, Dr. Fouda extended his thanks and appreciation to the Rector of King Saud University, Dr. Badran Alomar, for his continuous support of all College of Medicine programs.
