KSU Rector Al-Omar Lauds King Salman’s Statement

King Saud University Rector Badran Al-Omar described as ‘timely and wise’ the statement made by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz, may God protect him.

In relation to King Salman's statement, “If you are not treated fairly, write to me”. Basically King Salman has recently made public announcement to the residents of his Kingdom.

KSU Rector Al-Omar said the King’s statement answers all questions of concern to the citizens and provides them with a satisfactory and comprehensive view of the pioneering and political logic that the Kingdom’s government will adopt in its leadership of the nation, and its sons and daughters.

Further, KSU Rector Al-Omar stated that King Salman has clearly defined to the citizens and to the whole world the wise and rational path our government will follow. He said this fortunate initiative was in line with the requirements of the changing times, and the any analysis of King Salman’s statement reveals how comprehensive it is of all internal and external issues of concern to citizens and Kingdom, including the strict adherence to the Shariah in running the affairs of the Kingdom and its people, protecting its holy sites, and making them accessible to Muslims to perform their rituals.

Moreover KSU Rector Al-Omar added that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may God preserve him - has clearly spoken of the education sector, which has received generous support from the Government of the Kingdom, to play its part in supplying the Kingdom with a qualified generation capable of creating development.

He said this gesture from the King’s, places tremendous responsibility on universities to fulfill their assigned duties and actualize the expectations of the Kingdom’s leadership, concerning uplifting educational standards, improving curricula, refining the criteria for recruiting, promoting a culture of creativity, nurturing the knowledge economy and transforming innovation into a common culture in a supportive, stimulating environment.

In addition, Rector Al-Omar prayed that God will preserve the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, will bless his years and his work, inspire his words and his action and strengthen him and his loyal crown prince and his crown prince.

Finally, KSU Rector Al-Omar prayed God to maintain the security and stability of the Kingdom, and the power and esteem of its wise government.
