Preparatory Week at the College of Computer and Information Sciences
The CCIS organized a preamble program, which included meetings, workshops, campus tours, and an exhibition
AT the exhibition, the newly enrolled students had the chance to meet representatives from the administrative unit and the academic departments. Also for the first time, they met representatives from the supporting Deanships such as the library affairs, the safety & security unit, and the writing center
The college also organized meeting sessions to welcome them and explain some of the college and department’s rules and regulations
The students also had the chance to meet the senior students to guide them and advise them and take them on tour around the campus to show them the available services and facilities for them
This year the college accepted 402 new students in its four bachelor programs, also about 150 students in its graduate studies programs. This adds up to the total number of female students enrolled in the college, which exceeds 1700 students today
