The B.Sc. programs of Electrical, Industrial and Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering were fully accredited in May 2016 by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation & Assessment (NCAAA) for seven years from April 30, 2016 to April 30, 2023. The B.Sc. program of surveying engineering was accredited for four years until April 2020. These programs were previously evaluated during the period 25-30 of April 2015.

Thus, the college becomes the first engineering college in the kingdom and the first college at KSU that have all of its B.Sc. programs accredited by NCAAA.
The NCAAA focuses on eleven standards which are divided on five key areas, including: 1 - Institutional context (the mission and objectives – program administration – management of program quality assurance); 2. Quality of teaching and learning; 3. Student learning support (student support and management services - learning resources); 4. Infrastructure support (facilities and equipment - financial planning & management – employment process); 5. Social contribution (scientific research - relationships with the community).
