KSU Organizes Annual Open Meeting with Rector Al-Omar

Lately King Saud University held the annual open meeting of the Rector Badran Al-Omar with the faculty and administration members (male & female). The university staff attended in different auditoriums, they are: Alshekh Hamad Aljaser auditorium, the main theater in female campus, Auditorium of the Applied Studies and Community Service College at Olaysha and the auditorium of medical college.

At the beginning Dr. Badran Al-Omar expressed his sincere condolences to the staff on the passing of king Abdullah, God bless his soul. Further, KSU Rector prayed that God will rest the king Abdullah on peace. Also he prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow the deceased his mercy and eternal peace and reward him for his services to his religion and homeland.

This meeting was held for discussions, suggestions and solving some problems, so KSU Rector Al-Omar assured to keep all the communication means open during the meeting.

The meeting included the announcement of employees of the year 2014, they are: the director of the medical departments’ management Srara Al-Orini, Office director for the Vice dean of tourism and antiquities college Sara Al-Saif and Fatin Al-Odeeb in the college of pharmacy.

Moreover, the meeting also included the activation of electronic system by Dr. Badran Al-Omar. After that the staff started their questions and queries. The questions were about the regulations of vacations, overtime, opportunities in the nursery, and promotions, in addition to discuss some of scholars’ matters.

At the final, KSU Rector thanked all the vice-rectors who completed their missions, they are: vice Rector Abdulaziz Al-Ruwais, vice Rector of education and academic affairs Abdullah Al-Salman, vice Rector of development and quality affairs Fahad M. Alkolibi, vice Rector of business development Mohammed Al-Sudairy, vice Rector of female students affairs Fatimah Jamjoom. He also thanked to all the staff members for their efforts.
