Likewise, the Northern Province exhibited a miniature of its heritage districts including a miniature of Hatim Al-tai’s tent while the Eastern Province served delightful treats of its traditional cuisine. Moreover, the Southern Province, where aroma of jasmine roses and basils can be smelled, performed traditional wedding ceremony.

In addition, the Commission for Tourism and National Heritage in the Eastern Province distributed brochures about the region.  On this occasion, the supervisor of King Salman Center for Studies of History of Arabian Peninsula and its Civilization, Muneefa Al-otaibi, congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on its 87th National Day and expressed appreciation and respect to our soldiers in the borders. At the same time, the Unit of Community Partnership distributed copies of a rare issue of LIFE magazine in which King Abdulaziz was featured on the cover anticipating his role in the renaissance of Saudi Arabia.

The Deanship of Faculty and Staff Affairs made a beautiful gesture by honoring the families of fallen soldiers. Similarly, many administrations and student clubs participated in the celebration adding a beautiful ambience throughout the festive national day celebrations. Finally, we would like to express our gratitude for Saudi Press Agency and Ien Channel for their coverage of KSU national day celebration.
