In cooperation with King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, female Student Campus held a blood donation campaign under the slogan (a drop = a life) on Sunday 28/1/2018 over three days with the organization of public relation unit in the Collage of Dentistry.
Prof. Ahmed M. AlKahtani (Dean of College of Dentistry), Dr. Einas Sulaiman Al-Eisa (Vice-Rector for Female Student Affairs) launched the campaign that aims to spread the culture of donating blood among society to maintain public health. The launch of this campaign comes in line with KSU's support of humanitarian initiatives, and the keenness of the female students' campus to participate in the humanitarian occasions and events.
The campaign witnessed a high attendance of donors from both inside and outside KSU, and an honored visit from Dr. Maysaa’ M Al Qurashi (Dean of Science and Medical Studies Departments), Vice Dean of College of Dentistry, Supervisor of the Clinics, and doctors which shows their willingness to participate in the humanitarian initiatives. This campaign also enhanced religious, humanitarian, national benefits, and promoted community partnership through interaction between individuals and society. This campaign is not the first of its kind in KSU, as there were previous cooperation between KSU and King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.
