Community College Gets Ready for Renewing Academic Accreditation for its Programs
As the community college at King Saud University intends to renew the academic accreditation for the programs at the Department of Administrative Sciences and the Department of Computer Sciences, the college received a consultant at the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation on Monday 27/02/1440 AH.
The inspection visit was part of a check-up procedure run by the National Center for the purpose of external review. During the visit, the consultant held a number of meetings with the dean, Prof. Abdallah Attia Al-Zahrani, the faculty members and employees of the programs above-mentioned. He also examined the equipment, procedures and documents related to academic accreditation. Dr. Osama Al-Farraj, Vice-dean of Development and Quality, briefed the consultant on the policies and procedures implemented by the college to achieve the standards and requirements of quality as approved by the National Center for Assessment and Academic Accreditation. At the end of the visit, Dr. Al-Farraj thanked the National Center consultant for his rich information which would contribute to raising the efficacy and quality of work at the Community College.
