Community College Inaugurates Second Phase of its Strategic Plan (2020) and Electronic Archive

As the Community College of King Saud University is keen on building a promising future, improving work and supporting development fields and continuous progress, the college inaugurated it strategic plan 2020 in its second phase and its electronic archive on Sunday 24/03/1440 under the patronage of the Vice-rector of Planning and Development Prof. Yusuf bin Abdo Asiri. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Dean of Development and Quality Prof. Saleh bin Ibrahim Al-Qasoumi, vice-deans and chairs of departments and units at the college, faculty members, employees and students.

During the inauguration ceremony, a video on the most important achievements of the college in the past few years was shown. Prof Abdallah bin Attiah Al-Zahrani, Dean of the college, gave a speech in which he thanked the rector of the university, Prof. Badran bin Abdulrahman Al-Omar for his continuous support for the continuous development and improvement witnessed by the university in general and the college in particular in its pursuit of international leadership.

 

The dean also thanked the Vice-rector of Planning and Development for sponsoring this inauguration ceremony and lauded his role in supporting the directives and strategic initiatives of the college. On his part, the Vice-rector of Planning and Development lauded the achievements of the college in his speech and its societal role in, and support of, the directives and strategic expectations of the university. He also assured the college's keenness and precedence in obtaining international academic accreditation as the first college in the university and as one of the earliest colleges to get national accreditation and its role in the university’s continuous development ad improvement.

Doctor Osama bin Abdulaziz Al-Farraj, Vice-dean of Development and Quality, gave a presentation on the strategic plan 2020 in its second phase and reviewed the most important achievements of the strategic plan in its first phase and the objectives and initiatives

developed in the second phase of the plan based on the Kingdom Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program 2020.

At the end of the ceremony, the Vice-rector of Planning and Development inaugurated the college’s strategic plan and electronic archive which had a great effect on the audience and encouraged them to make more efforts to achieve the objectives of the strategic plan. The vice-rector and the dean honored the team of renewing and developing the strategic plan 2020. The vice-rector, the Dean of Development and Quality and the Dean of Electronic Transactions and Communications were also honored for their continuous support of the college.
